To believe in Christ does not include picking a certain religion or a religious title. It is simply believing in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ for your sins because of His deep love for you. Then turning away from those sins and living a pure life by the power of His Spirit.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV)
Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. (2 Corinthians 5:5 NKJV)
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” (Jude 1:24, 25 NKJV)
Salvations still need to be at the forefront of all we do for Jesus. Then we need to work on discipleship.
Yes! It is when we believe in His salvation and have had a personal encounter with Him, that we are compelled to go out and tell/teach others about the salvation of Jesus.
